Parts Animal is primarily a ‘parts locator’, it is an aggregator that combines information from all available sources to create a single location for buying and selling parts.

Think of Parts Animal as a parts dating service - matching buyer and seller.

WHAT OTHER INDUSTRIES USE AGGREGATION?

Aggregation has been used to streamline various industries for over 10 years. Well known examples include price-comparison, travel and news websites such as Go Compare, Travel Supermarket and Yahoo and Google news.

HOW IS PARTS ANIMAL DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SITES?

1. Neutral - we’re not owned or associated with any single brand in the industry.

2. Non-transactional - we locate parts, we don’t buy and sell them.

3. No pricing - only the part number, description, quantity and location are shown.

4. Trade and membership only - you need to be in the trade and a member to enjoy the benefits.

5. No hidden charges - flat monthly membership fee regardless of usage.

WHO CAN USE PARTS ANIMAL?

Parts Animal is a trade only tool designed for those within the industry. The only contact with the general public is with the Wanted List. Non-members and the general public can list items on the Wanted List, however only members can view listings and contact that person directly.

No. Parts Animal is designed to compliment your existing systems and bring greater efficiency to your business.

IS THE DATA SAFE?

Parts Animal is 100% secure and can only be viewed by members, all of who are already within the trade. No pricing is shown and only data provided by members (other than the wanted list) is displayed i.e. part number, description and quantity. In addition, we regularly maintain and monitor all data.

HOW DO I SEARCH FOR PARTS?

Simply type in the part number or description in the clearly provided field on the site.

WHAT IS THE WANTED LIST?

This is a fantastic tool for searching parts that are rare or old. Either members or the General Public can post a listing without logging into the site. Simply post your wanted item on the Wanted List and if a member has that part they’ll be in touch. Items on the Wanted List are removed after 7 days but you can re-post them if you wish.
